Q: You let people under 15 on your team?
A: Yes, with some conditions. Please see: 13th VZ - Vzvod Zameny ( 13th
Replacement Platoon )
Q: Why does your team have ranks?
A: Due to the fact we as a team play as a Russian Army Unit, we are
playing a part. Without going into the Social/Political structure
of the Russian Army, let us just say it also makes things easier
in the field to clearly know who is in charge in any given situation.
We also do it for fun, we give awards and medals too, but they
are simply to show that someone did a good job. Would you like
a gold star too?
Q: How do you grant rank?
A: We Play Favorites! It has little to do with popularity. If a person
(17 or older) Has any rank it is because of :
Team Dedication
Attendance
Performance on the field
Leadership Ability
Q: Are you Communist?
A: No. Honestly, the majority of the leadership of the 937th is former
US Army Vets from the Cold War Era.
Q: Are you guys really Russian?
A: No. See above. (But if a real Russian wants to join, they have
to meet the same standards.
Q: Do you all use Replicas of Russian Stuff?
A: Yes and No. While we encourage the use of real Russian Uniforms
and Weapon Replicas, Any weapon Replica is acceptable and as long
as the Uniform meets our standards, they are OK. FYI: Our team
patches are real.
Q: What is up with your uniforms?
A: They are nifty! Yes, our patches are bright colored, but with
proper tactical training they rarely hinder us.
Q: Is there a fee for joining the team?
A: Yes, besides fees for individual games, after 90 days of membership
there are team fees that help cover patches and other items the
team uses:
Jr. Cadets: $5 a year
Cadets: $10 a year
Recruits: $20 a year
Members: $20 a year
Officers: $30 + a year
Q: Are there forms for joining the team?
A: Yes, There ia a Team
Form and also as part of the AP
(Airsoft Pacific) Community you will need an AP
form.
Q: Why do I see 937th OSK and some times 937oj OCK?
A: 937th OSK is in English, 937oj OCK is in Russian.
